WTF is Body Burden and why should I lower it?
Alright, I know what you’re thinking: “What the Buddy The Elf is Body Burden?” Right?! It sounds so intimidating but it doesn’t have to be.
Body Burden, also referred to as your “Toxic Load”, is the total accumulation of toxins and toxicants in your body.
Think of your body as a bucket. You want as little water (i.e. toxicants) in that bucket as possible. Think of things like: processed food, WIFI signals, flame retardants, and pesticides—all of which add “water” to your bucket. Some buckets are filled more than others based on lifestyle and genetics but unfortunately, we all have “water” and it’s safe to assume that most of our buckets are pretty full in this day and age when we are constantly bombarded with toxicants.
The purpose of this blog is to give you, my beautifully intelligent readers, weekly tips on how to reduce the contents of your bucket or “lower your water” and to stop more water from coming into it!
